The Eastmark Firebirds baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Combs Coyotes to 5 in the Firebirds league win on Thursday.

The Firebirds now own a 4-19 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poston Butte for a 4A East Sky test on Monday, April 20. Eastmark will play a Broncos team coming off a 12-1 league loss to ALA - Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Broncos record now stands at 5-11.

With the defeat, Combs drops to 6-14 on the year. The Coyotes host ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Eagles in a 4A East Sky test on Monday, April 20. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 17-6. ALA - Gilbert North lost 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Douglas (Douglas, AZ)
