The Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) softball routed the host Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ), 16-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Colts now sport a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a 6A Premier outing on Tuesday, April 21. Casteel will encounter a Huskies team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Notre Dame Prep moves to 3-13 on the season. The Saints host Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ) to encounter the Firebirds in a 5A East Sky outing on Friday, April 17. The Firebirds come into the outing with a record of 14-8. Chaparral won 2-1 in their recent league outing against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)
