Ohio High School Softball - Green bounces Boardman
Green Bulldogs (Uniontown, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perry for a Federal challenge on Tuesday, April 27.
With the loss, Boardman falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Howland (Warren, OH) to battle the Tigers in a All-American challenge on Monday, April 19. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Howland won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH)
