April 17, 2023: Buchanan, VA 24066 The James River Knights softball team scored 32 runs and limited the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots to 6 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, James River moves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Knights host Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 18. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 6-2. Carroll County won 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Grayson County (Independence, VA)
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 19. Patrick Henry will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
