Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) and the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), saw East Wilkes's baseball squad edge North Stokes by a margin of 10-9.

Coming up next, the Cardinals play the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 19. East Wilkes will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Blackhawks enter the battle with a 10-7 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC).
