In Thursday's league challenge, the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) baseball squad the host Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), by a margin of 10-6.

With the win, North Stokes betters its record to 8-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to encounter the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Surry Central lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Forbush (East Bend, NC)

With the defeat, Alleghany falls to 2-8 on the season. The Trojans host East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a Northwest 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 2.
