Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Central prevails Chestnut Ridge

April 17, 2025: Martinsburg, PA 16662

The Central Dragons baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Chestnut Ridge Lions to 0 in the Dragons league win on Thursday.

The Dragons now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Philipsburg-Osceola for a Laurel Highlands East test on Tuesday, April 22. Central will clash with a Mountaineers team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Chestnut Ridge drops to 4-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA) to clash with the Red Devils in a Laurel Highlands West test on Tuesday, April 22. The Red Devils go into the test with a record of 7-2.
