The Knightstown Panthers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host New Castle Trojans to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Purdue Polytechnic for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Knightstown will clash with a Techies team coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Indianapolis Shortridge (Indianapolis, IN). The Techies record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, New Castle drops to 2-7 on the year. The Trojans host Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 5-1. Shenandoah won 13-2 in their recent league test against Cowan (Muncie, IN)
