The North Star Cougars baseball squad (Boswell, PA), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA)

With the triumph, Meyersdale moves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Southern (Oakland, MD) to confront the Rams in a non-league contest on Friday, April 18. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 5-3. Southern lost 9-3 in their recent league contest against Northern Garrett (Accident, MD)

The Cougars now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berlin Brothersvalley for a Inter-County - West contest on Monday, April 21. North Star will confront a Mountaineers squad coming off a 13-2 league loss to Windber (Windber, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-5.
