The Spring Lions triumphed over the host Nimitz Cougars baseball squad by a score of 12-2 in Thursday's league outing.

Next up, the Lions encounter the Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 outing, on Tuesday, April 22. Spring will attempt to advance on its 19-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 17-3 record after their 23-8 league win over Eisenhower (Houston, TX).

The Cougars (6-15) will now prepare for their outing against Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region II District 14 outing with a 15-14 record. In their last outing, Dekaney was overwhelmed by MacArthur (Houston, TX), 12-5, in a league outing.
