Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY), 8-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Southwestern moves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Clay County (Manchester, KY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, April 18. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 10-6. Clay County won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Leslie County (Hyden, KY)

The Rockets now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Laurel for a non-league match on Friday, April 18.
