In Thursday's league contest, the host Downers Grove South Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the Hinsdale Central Red Devils.

The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Andrew held off Washington (Washington, IL), 5-3, in a league contest.

Next, the Red Devils meet the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) in a West Suburban contest, on Saturday, April 19. Hinsdale Central will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record.
