April 17, 2025: Morgantown, WV 26501 The John Marshall Monarchs lacrosse team (Glen Dale, WV), was overwhelmed 21-3 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV)
With the victory, Morgantown advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Mohigans host The Linsly School (Wheeling, WV) to encounter the Cadets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Cadets come into the battle with a record of 5-5. The Linsly School won 14-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
The Monarchs now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Albans for a WVSLA -DII West battle on Saturday, April 19. John Marshall will encounter a Red Dragons team coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 0-4.
