Virginia High School Lacrosse - The Covenant bounces New Covenant

April 17, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22902

The The Covenant Eagles lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting New Covenant Gryphons to 2 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Virginia Episcopal School for a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 23. The Covenant will face a Bishops squad coming off a 18-4 league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Bishops record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, New Covenant falls to 1-6 on the year. The Gryphons host Veritas School (Richmond, VA) to face the Lions in a VISAA Division 2 outing on Tuesday, April 22. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Veritas School lost 21-8 in their recent league outing against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA)
