The Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), 12-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Heritage for a Bay Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 21. Pittsburg will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-6.

With the defeat, Freedom drops to 10-7 on the year. The Falcons host Antioch (Antioch, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a Bay Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 21. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Antioch won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA)
