The Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) baseball got by the visiting Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA), 6-5 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freedom for a Bay Valley challenge on Monday, May 4. Antioch will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Skyline (Oakland, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-7.
