April 17, 2026: Baltimore, MD 21229 Spectators at Friday's league challenge between the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Gilman Greyhounds (Baltimore, MD), witnessed Mount St. Joseph's baseball team hold off Gilman by a count of 1-0.
The Gaels now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host McDonogh for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 20. Mount St. Joseph will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 3-14.
With the defeat, Gilman drops to 9-12 on the year. The Greyhounds host Dulaney (Timonium, MD) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 18. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Dulaney won 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Towson (Towson, MD)
