The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD) and the visiting Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD), saw John Carroll's baseball team get by Mount St. Joseph by a tally of 5-4.

The Patriots (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD). The Dons come into the MIAA A contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Loyola Blakefield was edged by Towson (Towson, MD), 9-1, in a non-league contest.
