The Valley Vikings softball team scored 18 runs and held the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers to 0 in the Vikings league win on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valencia for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 21. Valley will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 8-6 league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-15.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 18. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to better on its 2-19 season record. The Ravens come into the match with a 10-8 record after their 11-5 league loss to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
