New Mexico High School Softball - Valley succumbs to Bernalillo

April 14, 2026: Bernalillo, NM 87004

In Tuesday's league test, the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), by a tally of 14-3.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 test, on Friday, April 17. Bernalillo will attempt to advance on its 12-5 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 6-13 record after their 20-10 non-league win over Highland (Albuquerque, NM).

The Vikings (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers go into the 4A District 6 test with a 2-18 record. In their last test, Albuquerque Academy was routed by Grants (Grants, NM), 9-5, in a non-league test.
