The River View Raiders softball squad (Bradshaw, WV), was routed 15-0 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV)

With the triumph, Independence improves its record to 13-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH) to face the Titans in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 18. The Titans enter the contest with a record of 12-2. Notre Dame won 18-1 in their recent league contest against Glenwood (New Boston, OH)

The Raiders now hold a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mount View for a non-league contest on Monday, April 20. River View will face a Golden Knights squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Bluefield (Bluefield, WV). The Golden Knights record now stands at 9-4.
