Kentucky High School Softball - Owen County holds off Eminence
Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) and the host Eminence Warriors (Eminence, KY), witnessed Owen County's softball squad tip Eminence by a count of 8-6.
The Rebels now sport a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Henry County for a District 31 test on Thursday, April 19. Owen County will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-11.
The Warriors (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Henry County (New Castle, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 4-11 record.
