April 18, 2023: Waynesboro, VA 22980 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), by a margin of 23-5.
With the triumph, Fort Defiance moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Indians host Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 20. The Trailblazers come into the contest with a record of 3-3. Spotswood lost 16-0 in their recent non-league contest against Broadway (Broadway, VA)
In their next game, the Little Giants play the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 21. Waynesboro will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Gladiators come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
