April 18, 2024: Bear Creek, NC 27207 Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC), 7-3 in a league test.
With the win, Bartlett Yancey upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Buccaneers host Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, April 19. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-1. Roxboro Community lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC)
With the defeat, Chatham Central falls to 10-7 on the season. The Bears host Northwood (Pittsboro, NC) to battle the Chargers in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A test on Friday, April 19. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 8-8. Northwood won 18-0 in their recent league test against Graham (Graham, NC)
