April 2, 2024: Haw River, NC 27258 Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC), 8-5 in a league test.
With the win, Bartlett Yancey upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to battle the Jets in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A test on Tuesday, April 9. The Jets come into the test with a record of 5-7. Jordan-Matthews lost 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC)
With the defeat, Southeast Alamance falls to 3-11 on the season. The Stallions host Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC) to battle the Hawks in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A test on Tuesday, April 9. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 8-3.
