North Carolina High School Soccer - Hobbton knocks off Lakewood
April 18, 2024: Roseboro, NC 28385 Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats face the Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) in a Carolina 1A challenge, on Monday, April 22. Hobbton will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC).
The Leopards now have a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they host North Duplin for a Carolina 1A challenge on Monday, April 22. Lakewood will face a Rebels team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 2-9.
