April 18, 2024: Minonk, IL 61760 The Henry-Senachwine Mallards softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Fieldcrest Knights to 5 in the Mallards non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Henry-Senachwine moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Mallards host Stark County (Toulon, IL) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league game on Monday, April 22. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 2-14. Stark County lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Princeville (Princeville, IL)
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Friday, April 19. Fieldcrest will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 7-5 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL).
