Illinois High School Baseball - Ballard wallops Glenbard West
April 18, 2025: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 The Ballard Bruins baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Glenbard West Hilltoppers to 5 in the Bruins non-league win on Friday.
The Bruins now hold a 19-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Ballard will play a Celtics team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Celtics record now stands at 9-4.
With the defeat, Glenbard West drops to 4-9 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 4-12. Berwyn/Cicero Morton won 6-5 in their recent league test against Addison Trail (Addison, IL)
