Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) and the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), observed Porter Ridge's baseball squad beat Lake Norman by a margin of 7-4.

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a Southern Carolina 4A contest, on Tuesday, April 26. Porter Ridge will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record.
