The Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) softball routed the visiting Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA), 9-3 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Rams go into the Laurel Highlands 1 bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Richland was routed by Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA), 7-6, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Central falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA) to face the Huskies in a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge on Thursday, April 20.
