In Saturday's non-league match, the host Hammond Central Wolves softball team scored a tight 29-25 win over the Michigan City Wolves.

The Wolves (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Gary West Side (Gary, IN). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Gary West Side was routed by Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN), 22-2, in a non-league match.
