Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH), 10-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Martins Ferry improves its record to 15-1 on the year. The Purple Riders host Barnesville (Barnesville, OH) to face the Shamrocks in a Ohio Valley Athletic AAA game on Monday, April 21. The Shamrocks enter the game with a record of 12-2. Barnesville lost 10-3 in their recent non-league game against Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH)
