Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Freedom Patriots (Tampa, FL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gaither upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Cowboys host Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL) to battle the Chargers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 21. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 14-7. Strawberry Crest lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Wharton (Tampa, FL)

With the defeat, Freedom falls to 14-6 on the season. The Patriots host Spoto (Riverview, FL) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, April 21. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-13. Spoto lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Durant (Plant City, FL)
