The Carolina International Comets baseball team (Concord, NC), was overwhelmed 13-0 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC)

The Vikings now hold a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hopewell for a Queen City 3A/4A outing on Friday, April 21. North Mecklenburg will face a Titans team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Titans record now stands at 15-6.

Next, the Comets face the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A outing, on Thursday, April 27. Carolina International will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record.
