Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA), 8-0 in a league test.

With the win, Marion Center upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Stingers travel to Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 26. The Cougars enter the bout with a record of 0-4. Kiski School lost 6-2 in their recent non-league bout against Leechburg (Leechburg, PA)

Next, the Mustangs face the Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) in a Heritage bout, on Tuesday, April 25. Portage will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 2-10 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Harmony Area (Westover, PA).
