Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Warde drops to New Fairfield
April 20, 2023: Fairfield, CT 06430 New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT), 10-5 in a non-league battle.
The Rebels now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pomperaug for a South West battle on Tuesday, April 25. New Fairfield will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) in a Fairfield County battle, on Saturday, April 22. Warde will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Hatters come into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Newtown (Newtown, CT).
