East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Winter Springs Bears (Winter Springs, FL), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Nona for a non-league game on Friday, April 21. East Ridge will clash with a Lions team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Cornerstone Charter Academy (Belle Isle, FL). The Lions record now stands at 11-9.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Harmony Longhorns (Harmony, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 25. Winter Springs will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Longhorns come into the game with a 8-7 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Bishop Moore (Orlando, FL).
