Indiana High School Softball - Glenn falls to Bremen
April 21, 2021: Walkerton, IN 46574 In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Bremen Lions softball team scored a nice 14-6 win over the Glenn Falcons.
Coming up next, the Lions battle the South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN) in a Northern Indiana outing, on Friday, April 23. Bremen will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 3-7 record after their 22-2 league loss to South Bend Adams (South Bend, IN).
The Falcons (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Jimtown (Elkhart, IN). The Jimmies enter the Northern Indiana outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Jimtown was routed by Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN), 12-2, in a non-league outing.

The lady Lions scored early and often posting crooked numbers in the first inning - 5 runs, 3rd inning 4 runs, 4th inning 2 runs, and added single runs in the 5th, 6th, & 7th innings to post the 14-6 win.
Glenn never quit, hitting 2-run home runs in the 4th & 5th, added a 3rd run in the 5th, & solo home run in the 7th.
Paige Thompson and Gretchen Willis had 3 hits each in the 15-hit attack. Ellia Foster homered & tripled, and Katie Moyer also homered while both scored a pair of runs for the Lions.
The pitching combination of Hanna Depoy & Naomi Flores struck out 13 Falcons while the defense surrendered only one error.
