With the triumph, Monroe Central moves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Golden Bears travel to Tri (Straughn, IN) to clash with the Titans in a non-league game on Friday, April 22. The Titans come into the game with a record of 2-5. Tri won 18-2 in their recent non-league game against Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN)
