Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) and the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), witnessed Tri's softball squad tip Monroe Central by a count of 5-3.

The Titans now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Shenandoah for a non-league match on Monday, April 25. Tri will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Frankton (Frankton, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Monroe Central moves to 2-8 on the season. The Golden bears travel to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to meet the Raiders in a Mid-Eastern match on Tuesday, April 26. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 7-5.
