Illinois High School Softball - Tri-City/Sangamon Valley bounces Lincolnwood
April 21, 2022: Niantic, IL 62551 Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm (Niantic, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL), 11-0 in a league challenge.
The Storm now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Pawnee for a MSM challenge on Friday, April 22. Tri-City/Sangamon Valley will face a Indians squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Calvary (Springfield, IL). The Indians record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Lincolnwood falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Lancers host Vandalia (Vandalia, IL) to face the Vandals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Vandals enter the challenge with a record of 4-12. Vandalia lost 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Staunton (Staunton, IL)
