The Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm (Niantic, IL) softball the host Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL), 3-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Storm (21-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Mac (Virden, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 10-10 record. In their last bout, North Mac held off West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL), 10-3, in a non-league bout.
