The South Brunswick Cougars lacrosse squad (Southport, NC), was overwhelmed 19-5 in Friday's league contest with the host Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC)

Coming up next, the Buccaneers battle the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern outing, on Tuesday, April 25. Laney will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record.

With the defeat, South Brunswick drops to 1-13 on the season. The Cougars travel to North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to battle the Scorpions in a Mideastern outing on Tuesday, April 25. The Scorpions go into the outing with a record of 1-13. North Brunswick lost 18-1 in their recent league outing against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
