Minnesota High School Softball - Barnum bounces McGregor
April 21, 2025: McGregor, MN 55760 The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Barnum Bombers (Barnum, MN) and the host McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN), observed Barnum's softball team notch a victory over McGregor by a tally of 14-5.
The Bombers (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Esko (Esko, MN). The Eskomos go into the Polar bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Esko was routed by Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Mercuries battle the Cromwell Cardinals (Cromwell, MN) in a Polar bout, on Tuesday, April 22. McGregor will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 14-8 non-league win over East Central (Sandstone, MN).
