In Monday's league match, the host Chesterton Trojans softball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Portage Indians.

The Trojans (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Vikings come into the Duneland match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Valparaiso was routed by La Porte (La Porte, IN), 10-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) in a Duneland match, on Tuesday, April 22. Portage will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Slicers come into the match with a 6-6 record after their 10-2 league win over Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN).
