In Monday's non-league test, the Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Clinton Central Bulldogs (Michigantown, IN), by a tally of 14-1.

Next, the Stars clash with the Lebanon Tigers (Lebanon, IN) in a Sagamore test, on Tuesday, April 22. Western Boone will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 21-0 league win over Frankfort (Frankfort, IN).

The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Rossville (Rossville, IN). The Hornets go into the Hoosier Heartland test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Rossville was routed by Tri-County (Wolcott, IN), 7-6, in a non-league test.
