The Watauga Pioneers softball team scored 9 runs and held the host McDowell Titans to 4 in the Pioneers league win on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashe County for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 23. Watauga will confront a Huskies team coming off a 10-0 league win over Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 7-12.
