Next, the Bears meet the Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM) in a 3A District 1 challenge, on Monday, April 20. Wingate will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Skyhawks go into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 17-6 league loss to Thoreau (Thoreau, NM).
