In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Hunt Warriors baseball team scored a close 9-7 victory over the Croatan Cougars.

The Warriors (14-8) will now prepare for their game against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Trojans enter the Quad County 3A game with a 14-6 record.

Next, the Cougars face the Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 23. Croatan will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Gators enter the game with a 16-4 record after their 6-5 league loss to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC).
