Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), 13-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Andrean upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Fighting 59ers host Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN) to play the Cherokees in a non-league game on Thursday, April 24. The Cherokees enter the game with a record of 4-5. Morgan Township won 17-2 in their recent non-league game against Victory Christian Academy (Valparaiso, IN)

The Trojans now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Munster for a Northwest Crossroads game on Thursday, April 24. Highland will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 9-6 league win over Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-3.
